*Get Microsoft Wireless Receiver. You will need the wireless receiver if you use a wireless xbox 360.
*Sadly, the wireless controllers communicate with the XBox 360 using a propreitary RF protocol, and not Bluetooth, so the Bluetooth module built into your Mac won’t help you out. Additionally, the Play n Charge cable only charges, and won’t allow you to use the wireless controller as a wired one. If you want to buy a Wireless Gaming Receiver.
*May 17, 2020 I have created a USB driver which allows you to use wired XBox 360 Controllers via USB, and wireless XBox 360 Controllers via the Microsoft Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows, on your OSX.

*Check that you’re in range of your device and there isn’t interference in the area.
*If you still can’t pair or connect, get help pairing your Bluetooth accessory to your iOS device. I’m also keen to find out. I’ve just bought the wifi adapter for Xbox 360 and was hoping to use the airport card in my iMac to share internet with it so I can connect to Xbox Live.
I’ve tried so many options with the sharing part of system preferences but have had little success.
I’ve seen a few tutorials on line which show how you can use the ethernet port to share your wireless connection but I’ve got a slightly different setup. My iMac is plugged into my cable modem via ethernet and I want to use the airport card to broadcast the internet connection to my Xbox.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
